Kickstarter and webrings
Hello, everyone!
We realized we hadn't posted an update in quite a while and in our small defense, we have been quite busy! Not only did we finally finish our site a long time ago, but we created a Kickstarter for our newest venture: ARADIA BEAT, a magical girls magazine! It was successfully funded, and we have been slowly making updates on it.
In fact, you can read said updates on our...Kickstarter updates page! We'll be posting one later today!
Besides getting the magazine to people's hands before July of this year, we are hoping to, at the very least, debut our archival efforts! ARADIA ARCHIVES will be that long-talked-about long form project of ours, which will consist of a library style database of all magical girl comics, past, present and future. As it will be a long term effort, the debut site will likely have very few entries initially. Trying to get proper info and images is an undertaking, and most of it has been footed as a one person show. When it comes out at last, we will post here!
Lastly, we've joined a few webrings! And made one of our own! As wont our raison d'être, our webring is for magical girl comics and creators of all kinds!
As for the other webrings, we've joined Hotline, Retronaut and Bucketfish! We hope you'll check them out, as we believe they are pretty nifty to belong to! We hope this also helps in people finding us, and mayhaps...connecting even more fans of the magical girl genre AND comics together?!
